coco soon expanded to couture, working in jersey a first in french fashion world by the 1920's her fashion house had expanded with its trendy little boy look and short skirts in relaxed fashion which replaced the corsets worn in previous decades chanel herself dressed in mannish clothes and adapted these more comfortable fashions which other women also found liberating
many years later in 1923 the chanel empire was built and coco chanel was becoming famous for having comfortable, revealing and simple designs chanel was responsible for one of the first women suits which had a distinctive 3 piece sleeve designed by chanel the suits were manly hand sewn in 1921 chanel came out with her first signature fragrance chanel No 5 which was the first to have a designers name attached to it and has had alot of success because of it being introduced this way . chanel died on the 10th of january 1971 aged 87 .

casual separating itself from the usually trendy hugo brand and the items designed for a sporty look the company products are divided into threw brands which are available throughout the world in 103 countries todays sub-brands for men include: boss black, boss black selection, boss green, boss orange and hugo . for women there are boss black, boss orange and hugo also part of the brands are lifestyle accessories all fragrance brands hugo boss and baldessarini are owned by Procter & gamble
Baldessarini is a more independent
business unit which focuses on a more prestigious image than its 2 sister brands it sells the same things as the other hugo brands clothing, shoes, fragrances and accessories but it left hugo after the spring/summer 2007 due to the newly launched premium line released by boss
the boss black selection which outsold Baldessarini
Baldessarini recently sold for 9m to Ahlers AG- which is a fashion brand holding company which means that Werner Baldessarini will continue to design the collections and he will be in
